Brunchin’ Fest
The Beatle Brunch gang came prepared to “Pepper” the crowd with more than a thousand dollars in Beatles prizes at the most recent “Fest for Beatles Fans” annual celebration just outside New York, at the Crown Plaza Meadowlands.

Beatle Brunch Host Joe Johnson, with Tom Frangione, hosted three “Name That Beatle Tune” contests and three “Beatles Trivia” shows, doling out the new Billy Joel (with Paul McCartney) “Live at Shea Stadium DVD/CDs, tons of books, Brunch tote bags, posters, CDs and the brand new “Concert For George” blue-ray DVDs, and that was just a drop in the Pepperland bucket.

Mr.Winner I Presume?

No, actually it’s 'Reverend Flash' who won The Beatles Trivia Contest at The Fest. GOOGLE his name if you don’t believe it! His first Beatle Fest was in 1982 and he is a dedicated Beatle Bruncher.

He says, “I want everyone to know that I had a really fun time participating in the contest and, of course, winning those cool prizes, as well.

Father McKenzie’s got nothin’ on you Reverend Flash.

Cruisers Speak

We’re planning another BTC 2012 and please don’t miss it.

Here’s a few comments:

I thoroughly enjoyed the Beatles Tribute Cruise. When I closed my eyes, the group “Yesterday” sounded just like the Beatles. Laurence Juber was mesmerizing and I got quite an education, not just the technical methods of playing, but playing from the heart. Tony Perkins shared some fun GMA video moments with Ringo, Tony Bramwell told some of the greatest personal stories of his friendship with the Beatles and Shannon McDonald ... what an artist! This is the second Beatles Tribute Cruise that I’ve been on and they keep getting better. Sandi

Janis and I are celebrating 35 years together this year, we take a large trip every 5 years on our anniversary, along with lots of small ones in between. Although I have never regretted any of our vacation expenses, only a few have I felt that I have received more than my moneys worth. This trip, by far, exceeded all my expectations. We can't wait for the next BTC, don't know how you will beat 2011. The smiles in the photos with all of you tell the story of just how truly excited and happy Janis was getting her Beatle fix. Bill & Janis

We had such a wonderful time getting to know you and all the "regulars" and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. You guys out did yourselves in planning all the Beatle activities and were very generous with the prizes too! It was so much fun we would have paid for it (but we were glad it was free!!). All the guests were fantastic too - mind-blowing, as a matter of fact, how accessible they all were and graciously letting us take their picture and signing autographs. BBC Cruise winner LeeAnn.

Author, Author
Beatle Brunch highlights our friends Richard Courtney and George Cassidy’s new release, Come Together, The Business Wisdom of The Beatles - a revealing perspective of The Fab Four as businessmen. They’re appearing at The Beveled Edge in Nashville, Tennessee at 5PM – 7PM on April 6th.
Liddypool: Birthplace of The Beatles
written by David Bedford is a remarkable history of Liverpool and The Beatles that most are saying is the best Beatles book between the covers.
Larry Kane’s Ticket To Ride is now out as an e-Book for all Kindle, iPAD, Nook and Sony Reader users.
Bob Gannon's latest write, Paul McCartney – A Fan’s Eye View is a collection of over 850 full color photos of Paul and the band, taken at some three dozen shows. His enthusiasm is captured in the free-verse style notes.
And our own BBC’er, Bruce Spizer just completed a 444 page masterpiece that will be out in August entitled, The Beatles For Sale On Parlophone. The book features all of the singles, albums and extended play discs issued by the Beatles in the UK from ’62 to ‘70.
Look for these books on Meet The Beatles Authors Radio Special later this year and you may have a chance to win a showcased autographed copy as a BBC prize.

Congrats Kelly Matson
March BBC Winner

Kelly’s from Minnesota and recently joined The Beatle Brunch Club. We’ve seen her in The BBC Chat Room, but we can’t tell you much about her because she has not yet listed her favorite; Links, Quote, Beatle, Beatle song, or Beatle album. We do know, however, she likes to fish! Kelly, please quit floundering and take it full steam ahead to the BBC Profile Page and fill out your Personal Profile so we can get to know you.

In the meantime, we mean no harm. Enjoy your copy of Larry Kane’s audio book, Ticket To Ride; our compliments. We thank you very much for your support. Live The Culture!
