Out the Old.
Ring in the New.
By Joe Johnson
We finally said goodbye to 2010 and now we look into a crystal
ball for what the new 2011 may hold. As Beatle fans, we have
much to be thankful for. Mainly, how prominent, promotional
and positive Paul McCartney was last year. Read
Think That People
Would Have Saved Another
Beatles Old Home
That may sound like a silly song, as every Beatle fan knows that
where they were born should be sacred ground. But the City of
Liverpool is about to raze (funny word for tear down)
the house in which Ringo was born.
Granted, he only spent a few months there, then lived down the
street for more than 10 years. Well, seems a local commissioner
is trying to stop it before its too late.
After all, Pauls boyhood home and Johns in Woolton
are both on the historic registrar map. What do you think?
Chime in on the BBC
(We had previously erroneously pictured his
on our 8-Days a Week Cruise!
Why not? Were doing just that! Join former Wings guitarist,
Grammy winning artist, Laurence Juber
, on board Royal
Caribbeans Liberty of the Seas
for the Cruise of a Lifetime.
Its your one chance to really hob-nob and hang out one-on-one
with Beatle Royalty. L J will be conducting a guitar clinic; Shannon
will show how she paints her world famous images that are so amazing,
they look like HD photographs; Tony Bramwell
, friend of
The Boys, will tell stories only an insider knows, while the other,
, will show videos of his one-on-one
interviews with Ringo, Olivia, Yoko, Pete Best and many others;
will thrill you on the dance floor with their
spot-on renditions of Beatles and solo songs, while your Beatle
Brunch Host, Joe Johnson
, will take you on a Magical Mystery
Tour of Beatles Name That Tune and Trivia to win amazing prizes,
plus, you could end up on a future Beatle Brunch radio program.
Heres a tip: This cruise makes a TERIFFIC Valentine's Day
gift for that special Beatle Fan in your life. Imagine
all the people, living on the ship in peace? You can be a part
of this marvelous journey for less than youd pay for a hotel
each night, and all your meals are included, plus world class
ports of call.
Book today, because Tomorrow Never Knows.

Suit Gets a New Suiter
The white jacket that John wore on the cover of Abbey Road has
been sold! John's 1969 sport coat has just brought $46,000 at
auction in Connecticut last weekend. The two-piece suit came to
Braswell galleries from an anonymous collector of Lennon memorabilia
who bought it for $120,000 in 2005. According to the UK Guardian,
Lennon gave the suit to a friend, Richard Ross. After Ross died,
the suit was sold to various collectors. The auction also featured
other Lennon memorabilia, including a 1972 Chrysler station wagon
said to belong to John at one time.
FYI, Beatle Brunch pal Russ Lease owns Ringo's Abbey Road jacket.
He often has it on display at The Fest. You can see more of Russ's
items including his custom made suits at www.beatlesuits.com
You can even have Russ custom tailor a Beatles suit for you so
you can say Yeah for Shea in your own way.
