Meet The Bootleg Beatles

Formed from the West End cast of the Broadway musical “Beatlemania”, The Bootleg Beatles’ career began in Tiverton, Devon, UK on March 26th 1980. Today they entertain audiences all over the world with their true to The Beatles sound and mannerisms.

Of all the venues they played none was more auspicious than their appearance on the rooftop of the Apple Building at 3, Savile Row, London on the freezing morning of January 30, 1999 exactly 30 years from the day The Beatles performed the famous Get Back session.

Since becoming regulars on the festival circuit, The Bootlegs played Wembley with Rod Stewart and Elton John, shared the bill with David Bowie and Iggy Pop PLUS filled Tokyo's Budokan Hall in their own right.

Tony Bramwell Cruisin'
Here There & Everywhere

Joining the featured cruise guest list is Tony Bramwell, long time friend, neighbor and business associate of the Fab Four. Paul McCartney once said, “If you want to know anything about The Beatles ask Tony Bramwell. He remembers more that I do!” Tony does a great job detailing the life of each Beatle and many close friends of The Beatles in his book, "Magical Mystery Tours, My Life With The Beatles". He tells story in rather a matter of fact way, quite conversational too as if he was speaking directly to you. If you have not read his book please do so. There is no other like it. Better yet, come on the cruise and he’ll personally sign a copy of his book you might win during one of Joe’s Contests.

The Beatle Brunch Cruise '04 Was Awesome!
A Splendid Time Was
Guaranteed By All

An entire week on the high seas, high on Beatles music and great friends! We remember our last, all-inclusive luxury Beatle Brunch Cruise to the Western Caribbean for 7 rockin’ days, and what a time we had!

The Beatle tribute band, “Revolution”, played four concerts on board for our Beatlemaniac group! Tim Piper, Jim Neil, Greg Piper and Carmine Grippo gave us searing renditions of The Beatles, all the way from the Cavern days, right through Beatlemania, to the Sgt. Pepper period and up on the roof for “Get Back.” Ahhhh the memories of listening to The Beatles music, watching sunsets, and pulling into exotic ports of call. ‘Nothing is real’ or so it seemed.

During the cruise Joe hosted several fun-fact-filled hours of videos and prizes watching The Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, complete with the old corny commercials and giving away tons of Beatle Brunch prizes to our great group of fans. The boys from Revolution joined Joe on stage for “The Evolution of The Beatles” show and our Beatly-talented artist, Rob Korhonen, demonstrated his sketches.

Our grand prize Beatle Brunch winner was Susan Krankowski from Sarasota, Florida, who listens to Beatle Brunch every Sunday on Oldies 108. Susan partied all week with her friend Tracy and made friends for life! Also, we remember Sandi from Coral Springs, who won the cruise from South Florida radio station, Majic 102.7.

Of course we had all the fun and luxury you’d expect on a top of the line cruise. Needless to say, the entire ship was rocking (sometimes literally) with “Beatles, Beatles, Beatles”, said Judy from New York City. We also met a great gang of fans, including Susan and Bob from Westin, Florida; Johnny B. and his wife Renee from Asheville, NC; Rick from Ft. Lauderdale; Jill from Rochester; Scott and Alicia from San Francisco; Bob from Ft. Lauderdale, and many others who traveled with us from as far away as South Hampton, England to sing with the boys on Yellow Submarine!
