Something New
Lots of new Beatles news and releases for you. Ringo’s on Tour with his 10th All Starr Band. He tells Joe Johnson in an exclusive interview, that they’ll be playing “Oh, My My” on the tour for the first time, and have added a new member, legendary keyboardist, Gary Wright. When asked how it was going with Gary, Ringo told Joe, “Just fine if I could get him to stop smiling”. Catch the gig in your city. And watch for Ringo’s new Tour 2006 CD and DVD due out soon.

Paul just played two incredible concerts, live from Liverpool on June 1st, then recently for several hundred thousand in Kiev. What’s really cool, is he’s playing more “new” songs. This tour he’s brought out “Mrs. Vanderbilt” from Band on the Run, and “A Day in the Life” blended with “Give Peace a Chance”, plus more than 20 other numbers. Don’t miss him on what could be his last tour!

The Cirque du Soleil show, “LOVE” celebrates its 2nd anniversary this summer at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. Look for Joe Johnson hosting many Beatle Brunch events at The Fest June 29-July 2nd. Apple is also coming out with a Cirque du Soleil DVD. Not the show, but incredible behind-the-scenes footage and interviews. Look for it this summer.

There’s something new coming from George Harrison’s camp soon, too. We can’t tell you what it is, but Beatle Brunch was contacted to help find some lost materials. Stay tuned!

And Yoko is always generously releasing more material from her and John’s vault. It’s always exciting to open up a lost Lennon treasure for the first time, and pop it in the CD or DVD player, or peel open a new book of photographs. Way to go Yoko! We never really appreciated what you give us until “what’s her name” came along.

Speaking of the Devil, Paul just turned another year older, but he looks terrific and sounds great in concert. Listen to JJ’s Beatle Brunch to hear selections from his latest concerts and to win all the new Beatle releases coming out this summer and into the spring of ‘09.

We love our Beatle Brunch listeners and that’s why we’re sending you this News Letter, dropping you a line, asking you to send us your comments. E-mail them to:
