Pete Best

Direct from Liverpool, Pete Best and The Pete Best Band. Pete's career in the music biz spans 5 decades. He played with The Beatles and joined them with their first recording contract (Decca Records) at EMI studio, but was dismissed from the group, still clouded with mystery to this day. Following Pete's dismissal from The Beatles on August 16, 1962, he was immediately approached by Rory Storm & The Hurricanes. They wanted him to take Ringo's place, who had ironically replaced Pete in The Beatles. Pete declined. He finally settled into a new role with Lee Curtis and The All Stars, eventually becoming Pete and the All Stars and today it's all about The Pete Best Band. They deliver the raw, thumping intensity of the Beatles' savage sound during the early sixties. Right from the first downbeat, you'll be immersed in nostalgia, listening to 'the best years' of The Beatles, 1960-62. They are the perfect show stopper and headliner of this stellar event, The Beatles Invasion ... 50 Years Later. Music In M'Ocean, The Hard Rock Cancun and main sponsor, Joe Johnson's Beatle Brunch are proud to have The Pete Best Band on stage for this Memorable Musical Mutha.

Laurence "L J" Juber

Two-time Grammy Award-Winner, finger-picking style acoustic guitarist, Laurence Juber, is also known for his work as lead guitarist for two years with Paul McCartney & Wings. Juber has released many critically acclaimed solo albums featuring his much-admired arrangements of popular tunes and genre-crossing compositions, including three Beatles related CDs, "L J Plays The Beatles", "L J Plays The Beatles Vol. II" and "One Wing", L J's interpretation of Wing's music. L J's opening this event with his sophisticated presence and distinctive acoustic guitar music that is sure to be a treat, kick starting a musical weekend of pure pleasure from the main stage. L J plans to join up with former WING's bandmate, Denny Seiwell in a McCartney Tribute with "House Music-Meisters" Band On The Run (read all about them in this section). They'll play several favorites you'll definitely recognize. We are certain Laurence will intrigue us with an extraordinary Beatles Guitar Workshop as well as offer private guitar lessons to any VIP who attends, equipped with "AX" in hand.

Denny Seiwell

Direct from Liverpool, Pete Best and The Pete Best Band. Pete's career in the music biz spans 5 decades. He played with The FABulous Drummer - Percussionist, Denny Seiwell, who donned the stage on many occasions as a founding member in WINGS with Sir Paul McCartney, playing on many hits including "My Love" and "Live and Let Die" is another great addition to the musical line-up. Denny's familiar beat can be heard on records by Art Garfunkel, James Brown, Astrud Gilberto, Deniece Williams, Janis Joplin's posthumous "Farewell Song" album, Billy Joel's "Cold Spring Harbor" and McCartney's "Ram", "Wildlife" and "Red Rose Speedway" albums. Now, you know Denny, but put a pair of sticks in his hand, skins in front of him and lead him to the stage and he becomes the man with the beat that keeps the music flowin' ... this gig will go down as one incredible event. 'Doctor' Denny plans to conduct his signature Drum Clinic for all VIP's demonstrating the intricacies of his "4 corner" drum technique. Sharing the main stage with L J and Band On The Run will be a sumptuous sight and sweet sound to a sense of hearing, not to mention believing that all these cats are hangin' with you for a musical extravaganza.

Tim Piper

Tim Piper's Just Imagine is not to be confused with a 1930 science fiction musical comedy, although it is a musical. In perfect Rock'nRoll style this Just Imagine, circa 2013, features the Best of John Lennon in a well-executed, thoroughly entertaining music-history tutorial delivered by Lennon virtuoso, Tim Piper and his band with Sir Greg Broham Piper on Bass, Les The Duke of Skins on Drums, Lord Morley playing keyboards & percussion and Don The Viceroy of Guitar on the Gibson Les Paul. Just Imagine has played for audiences all over the world and now will be exclusive and integral to The Beatles Invasion ... 50 Years Later. You must not miss it. Tim and his Band will be on hand to mingle and hob-nob with all holders of a VIP Backstage Pass. NOW do you wanna buy a couple?

This will be Mark's 3rd appearance in a Music In M'Ocean event and by popular demand he'll be offering songwriting lessons again. Mark helped Lee H., one past student, discover a melodious hidden gem in a poem she wrote about John Lennon and he transformed it into a fabulous full blown recording that may be heard on the radio. When Hudson's involved you'll never know what will happen. Above all his presence will be a delightful addition to the star-studded line up and his intimate performance in concert will be certainly a thrill!

Among legendary names pictured in the compilation besides Ringo are John Lennon, George Harrison, Keith Moon, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and Gregg Allman, to name a few.
