WoW! Far Out, Joe!
What a great New Years Surprise from your terrific website!
I really miss a local broadcast of your program here in
Mobile, so I have to search for stations on the WEB, which
has been a challenge trying
to figure out broadcast times that fit my CST schedule;
but worth the effort for the info and entertainment you
deliver! Please keep the stations webpage uo to date. THANK
YOU! Thanks for being "In My Life"

Hi Joe!
This is a great start to the new year! Thank you for a wonderful
program and for the opportunity to win such terrific prizes.
Quite some time ago, I won a signed CD by Billy Preston
and I treasure it, especially in light of his passing. I
have no idea what this prize will be, but I look forward
to receiving it.
Thanks, also, for giving us the opportunity to send Paul
birthday wishes for his "64th". I am his greatest
fan, I almost met him at Virgin Megastore, but I was twenty
feet away, at 2:15 when he packed up and had to stop signing
DVD's and CD's. I love your radio show, and listen every
weekend! Happy New Year, Joe.
Your #1 Beatle Brunch Fan,

Hi Joe!
I just wanted to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU for
the new Paul CD. I was amazed, stunned and ecstatically
happy to be a winner. I quickly sent an e-mail to all of
my friends (and even some not friends) to brag about winning.
I think it is his best effort in a long time and we play
it almost daily. The "Congratulations" sticker
is a great touch, too. Totally unexpected. That makes it
even more special. I'm even looking into a way of framing
the cover and the envelope it came in for display so I can
show it off even better.> My wife and I love your show
and it is the highlight of our Sunday mornings. As soon
as we wake up we tune in to our local station (WMXJ) and
anxiously await the start of the show. There's no way we
mere listeners can even begin to thank you for the hours
and hours of pleasure you've brought us over the years.
I've never heard a bad show and you continue to amaze us
with all the alternative takes and versions of the songs,
and the interviews you play. I am so impressed (and frankly
somewhat envious) with the depth and breadth of your collection.
Kudos to you and your staff for everything. We are, and
will continue to be, avid listeners and fans of you and
Beatle Brunch. Again, Thank you so much!

- I actually saw the boys in 1964, live at the Indianapolis
fairgrounds - the night show. My family
had 4th row, center seats that cost I believe $4 apiece.
I used to have the ticket stubs...
- My wife and I are 34 year-old Beatle Brunch
fans, and we've been listening to the show in Gainesville,
FL on Star 99.5. We have many good reasons that Beatle Brunch
is a much better show than the other hour-long Beatles show
that airs in Gainesville. We were unable to enjoy this week's
George Harrison show because our station re-ran last week's
Valentine's episode. Joe Johnson reminisces that his inspiration
for the show was a road trip with a good stack of Beatles
music. When we go on our road trips, we take along tapes
of Joe Johnson's Beatle Brunch. This will be the first week
since August that I missed taping a Beatle Brunch show,
and we were looking forward to this week's George show.
We work hard six days a week, and we really enjoy coming
home from church on a Sunday to throw in a blank cassette
and listen to Beatle Brunch to begin our weekly day of resting.
Thank you very much for having the show in Gainesville.
We consider ourselves extremely lucky to be able to hear
Beatle Brunch, (even a re-run). Thanks again for the great
show!
Scott and Carolyne.
- Hey Joe, I'm a new listener and I first
heard your show last August. I've enjoyed all of your shows,
especially the Christmas one because radio stations don't
play a lot of The Beatles Christmas stuff. I'm addicted
to The Beatles life and music and I'm glad I've found a
new and cool way to spend my Sundays. I'm also a writer
and I've written an essay as a
my way of trying to pay tribute to John, Paul, George and
Ringo. I feel it should be shared with the world. Thanks
and keep up the good work.

- Hi Joe! I listened to the Beatle Brunch show
today for the first time. I LOVED IT!! I heard about the
Beatle Brunch cruise and went onto the website and saw pictures.
It looks like it was a blast! My husband and I went on a
cruise for our honeymoon--the only thing we didn't like
about it was the music...but a Beatle's cruise would solve
that problem! When's the next one???

- I'd like to hear Beatle Brunch in my town.
There are two possibilities: WMJI FM 105.7 is the oldies
station in Cleveland and they are owned by Clear Channel.
The other possibility is an independent station WELW AM
1330 in Willoughby, a suburb on Cleveland's east side. They
are an oldies station also.

Greetings Donnie G !
You received the scratched cd at the end of March...Sandi
Mahynski sent me a new one on April 1st...I have received
it and am quite happy this time around. Thanks again for
your attention to detail and for the excellent BeatleBrunch
program ! I listen to it on 104.3FM WOMC in Detroit on my
way downtown for Sunday morning Mass. My wife tells me it's
a pretty ridiculous way for me to prepare for Mass...but
what can I say...It puts me in very positive frame of mind
and in that sense I guess you could say I go from one "religious"
experience to another ! Thanks again !!

II recently heard about this radio program
called Beatle Brunch. Their web site is www.brunchradio.com
I think bringing this programing to Cleveland would put
your station way out In front of others. The Beatles are
now more popular then ever. Each year the Abbey Rd. On The
River Beatle event keeps getting bigger and bigger. If you're
looking for something new, refreshing, and attracts a wide
age range, please consider this program in your schedule.
Thank you, I'm 52, married 34 years, father of four, grandfather
of two, and resident of Chardon, Ohio.
Jay K. Brindo.
Really enjoy your show, which airs on Saturday
mornings in Buffalo, NY.
I often hear very nice acoustic guitar versions of Beatle
songs in the background while Joe is talking. Is that particular
acoustic music available on a CD anywhere? Who is the artist?
Thanks and best wishes,
Dan Herbeck, Buffalo NY
Joe,
As you know, I love Beatle Brunch and thoroughly enjoy most
of the shows,
but the Mother's Day show opening with Mother and ending
with Your Mother
Should Know was particularly lovely. As always you have
my heartfelt
appreciation.

Hey, Joe: Thanks so much for today's show featuring
the Ed Rudy interviews. It brought back so many memories
for me. In 1964, I actually won the Rudy interview LP in
a contest sponsored by Atlanta radio station WQXI. You can
imagine how this then 13-year-old cherished that album!
I played it until it was almost worn out, and it went along
with me through marriages and moves until the cover was
ragged. Every once in awhile I'd pull it out and wonder
how much it was worth.
Unfortunately, it was lost when I made the Great Escape
from my marriage in 1993, and my rotten ex-husband sold
it. I'd despaired of ever finding a copy again. So I was
thrilled to listen to today's show and find out that it's
available on CD. I was even more thrilled to know that Ed
Rudy is still very much with us!
If you speak with Mr. Rudy, please give him my best and
tell him that he had a big part in fostering my now 40-year-old
Beatlemania.
Hope you and your family are doing well, and life is treating
you with kindness. Regards,
Jill Finan
