The music, vocals, songwriting and arrangements are haunting to say the least, and reminiscent of the Beatles. Vic Morton and Tom Gordon both grew up in the sixties, and were deeply impressed by the four lads from Liverpool. Tom, from California, was a natural on rhythm, lead and bass guitar. Tom toured and recorded through the years and is a musicians musician, able to play almost any style of music. Vic, from Virginia, performed cover material and recorded his own songs over the years. He is a songwriter, vocalist and rhythm guitarist, and it doesn't take but a few bars of one of his songs to hear who influenced his playing style. Vic and Tom met in 1998 and clicked immediately. Both yearned for The Beatles after their break-up so they decided record The About. Tom's musicianship (he plays every instrument on the CD), and Vic's vocals and songwriting gelled ... the CD was born. Vic and Tom's goal is that others might enjoy the songs as much as they did creating them.

Beatle Brunch Fans check out these lyrics and listen to the clip:

I Found My Bright Tomorrow Today
Tomorrow today. I'm so glad I found my bright tomorrow today, no more running from the ghost of yesterday, Jesus came and took my darkness away, I found my bright tomorrow today ... tomorrow today.

I Recall
Verse 1: I recall ... June and days of change, feeling strong ...
laughter in the rain and after all ...
the promises we made, the moments gone.
Verse 2: It's like a dream ... fragrant summer nights,as friends I see ...
decked in gowns and ties, and part of me ...
turns to realize, the moment's gone.
Chorus: Remember when the days were long, the dew was sweet, the sun was strong, remember ... remember?
Remember how we laughed until we cried with friends renown?
We wore our new tomorrows like a crown.
Verse 3: I recall ... the future bright ahead, feeling strong ...
the paths we vowed to tread, and after all ...
the brave good-byes we said, the moments gone.
Chorus: Remember how we laughed until we cried with friends renown?
We wore our new tomorrows like a crown.
Remember when the days were long, the dew was sweet, the sun was strong, remember ... remember?
Verse 4: I recall, feeling strong, and after all, the moment's gone.

Self
Woe is me,well I got such a deal to choose,
to the right I,m a winner, to the left I surely lose.
I can't beleive that I'm still my momma's little boy, cause
I got my own space and I got my own toys, but I
can't betray, I can't betray a lifetime of deceit, but
this masquerade, this masquerade is the hardest pill to take.

Self, ain't you ever gonna change your ways?
You knock me out with all the words you say.
You hear it straight and then you turn away.
I guess your'e gonna have the devil to pay.

I take a walk down an old familiar street, the sun
on my shoulder and the earth beneath my feet.
I can't beleive that I'd throw this all away for one
shot of winter, can't imagine why I feel this way,
but it's in my blood, it's in my blood, the seal of Adam's fate,
yet through the flood, the crimson flood, the Son of glory waits.

Self, ain't you ever gonna change your ways,?
You knock me out with all the words you say.
You hear it straight and then you turn away.
I guess your'e gonna have the devil to pay.
Woe is me, well I got such a deal to choose.

Option #1,582
I've been knocking on your door since the day
I was born again. Youv'e heard it all before at
least a thousand times or more, it's a sin, while
billions of people are dying with no options to choose.

Youv'e taken all I've given, yeah, you live among
the fortunate few. Youv'e heard the glory story
til it's runnin out the souls of your shoes, while
billions of people are dying with no options to choose.

Oh wev'e got bag you, yeah wev'e got to tag you,
give you one more chance to refuse. We don't want to
nag you, tie you up and drag you, but here comes your option # 1,582.

Youv'e taken all my money and you left the rest with only no news. I hear the distant crying, but there can be no denying the few, while billions of people are dying with no options to choose

Forgive me for giving to you all the chances they'll
never take, and forgive me for giving to you the greater
judgement to face.

Oh we've got to bag you, yeah we've got to tag you,
give you one more chance to refuse. We don't want to
nag you, tie you up and drag you, but here comes your option # 1,582
