It was an honor having Gary Wright as a guest in our BBC Chat Room. He's a very busy guy and to give a bit of his time to the BBC is just an enormous luxury for its members. Last weekend Joe produced a tremendous Beatle Brunch show featuring Gary's music and interviews. During the chat Gary recalled the song, Kirra Layne, from his new CD. Kirra is his first grand baby and he wrote the song while in Sardinia missing her when she only 3 months old. So he wrote about the day she was born and how she changed his life. He went on to reveal some of his early musical heroes; James Brown, Ray Charles, Little Richard, Steve Winwood, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Peter Gabriel. The Beatles Tribute Cruise superstar band, Yesterday, returns to Oklahoma with their newest Las Vegas style production, 'Best of The Brits'. A Beatles and Rolling Stones Show. Also starring, California's Rolling Stones Tribute, Jumping Jack Flash. Both shows open in Grant at the Choctaw Indian Nation Resort Casino's Event Center, Saturday, September 4th at 8:00 PM and Sunday, September 5th at 8:00PM. Best of the Brits moves to Center Stage at the Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant on Friday, September 10th at 8:00 PM. There is a second show on Saturday, the 11th at 8:00 PM and a matinee on Sunday at 2:00PM. Brunchers in the area stop by and see Yesterday in action.

She Came in Through The Bathroom Window?
Lennon's toilet fetched 9,500 pounds ($14,740) at auction last week. John had the john removed from his home in Tittenhurst Park in Berkshire, England and replaced it with a new toilet. The builders who took away the white and blue lavatory were told to "put some flowers in it or something," according to the auction catalog. Builder, John Hancock stored it in his shed for 40 years until he died recently and the lavatory was sent for sale. It was among Beatles memorabilia sold at auction during Beatle Week in Liverpool. Memorabilia expert, Gary Sohmers told Beatle Brunch’s Joe Johnson that the buyer got a “crappy deal.”
