Dear
Beatle Brunch Listener:
What
an exciting year its been already. Here at Beatle Brunch were
very pumped up about the Cirque du Soleil LOVE show thats
currently at The Mirage in Las Vegas, and we hope to meet many of
you there in July at the Fest for Beatles Fans gathering. Ive
seen the show and Im going back to see it again during the
fest week.
First off, we want to thank you for listening each week, either
on your local station, or through streaming audio from one of our
stations listed on www.brunchradio.com.
Sorry I missed the NJ Fest I got snowed out of the North
East and had to spend a sunny weekend in Ft. Lauderdale lying by
the pool. Oh well, next time.
Id like to thank all of you who enter and win the weekly Mind
Games Contest. Especially our Fab Four excited winners
who recently won a signed copy of Paul McCartneys The
Space Within Us DVD, from Beatle Brunch and AETV. We have
one more to give away that weve been saving for the Paul McCartney
birthday show coming up June 17th. So listen and win!
Speaking of Paul, his new CD is due out just before his birthday
and is said to be called, Memory Almost Full.
We know its been a tough 15 months for Paul and his family,
and we wish him the best, of course. Hopefully well all LOVE
his new CD as much as we enjoyed Chaos and Creation in the
Backyard. Meanwhile, Ringos new disc will also be out
this summer, called Liverpool 8.
If youre like me, you probably love some of the Beatle tribute
bands. Some of my favorites are 1964, Louise Harrisons
buds Liverpool Legends; Revolution; The Fab Four
and one to keep an eye on, FabForever, coming soon to
Las Vegas. But if I had to pick a sentimental favorite, it would
be the guys of New Yorks The Fab Faux, Will Lee and
Company. I really encourage you to check these guys out. They dont
dress up like The Beatles, but they are some of the best musicians
on the planet who happen to play everyday on national TV (Letterman
and Conan). They mainly play in the NY area, but we would love to
bring them out to a show near you. Check their website, www.fabfaux.com.
Youll be hearing more from them in the coming months on the
show.
In a few weeks on the show, well be celebrating the 40th anniversary
of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band being released (June
2, 1967 in the U.S.). Listen for a special Beatle Brunch all about
it.
And I also want to tell you about something youll be hearing
about real soon. My buddy Joe B has come up with this amazing Bee
Pollen supplement that will make you feel fab every day. No plug
here, I just take it and I love the way I feel. So look for that
real soon on our site.
On behalf of all of us in the Beatle Brunch family, everyone at
Amerimedia and our awesome webmasters Rob & Deb from Art
and Soul Graphics (check em out! They can design and host
your site to look this good!), and our contributors Tom Frangione,
Bill Haack, Bruce Spizer, Steven King, Gary
Hein, Anthony Parisi, Don E. Gee, Tom Fontaine,
Apple, Capitol and Westwood One, please have
a Fab summer, and thanks for taking the time to enjoy this special
message from Beatle Brunch. See you on the radio real soon.
